All teachers are CPR and First Aid Certified. The teachers acquire at least 20 hours of Professional Development Hours every year by attending workshops and courses.

Teachers

Director Jen Rogers, a former parent at the school, became a teacher here in 2009 and became teacher/director in 2013. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Elementary Education from Boston College. She also received her Master of Education Degree in Moderate Special Needs from Boston College. Jen worked as a Special Needs Teacher and First/Second Grade Teacher in the Tyngsboro Public School System. She is certified as both a Preschool Lead Teacher and Director.

Liane Sheehy, a former parent at the school, became a teacher here in 2013. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Psychology from the University of Massachusetts Lowell. She received a Master of Social Work Degree from Boston University and is a licensed Social Worker in the state of MA with a specialty in Children and Families. Liane has worked with young children for many years including Child Care and Early Intervention settings and has acquired her Preschool Lead Teacher Certification.

Colleen Regan, a former parent at the school, became a teacher here in 2019. She received her Bachelor of Arts Degree in Chemistry from Bryn Mawr College. She received her PhD in Chemistry from Stanford University. Colleen has taught numerous students in a variety of formats and has acquired her Preschool Teacher Certification. She is fascinated by the intrinsic scientific skills of preschoolers as they explore and investigate their world.

Andrea Holmberg, a former parent at the school, became a teacher here in 2021. She received her Bachelor of Arts degree in Communications from Sonoma State University in California, where she was born and raised. She is an Atkinson Elementary library volunteer and PTO member and has assisted with the Nature’s Pace kindergarten programs. She lives in North Andover with her husband and daughter and is thrilled to be back in the yellow schoolhouse where she and her daughter spent many happy hours exploring, playing, and learning.

Jen Lundy, a current parent at the school, became a teacher here in 2023. She received her Bachelor of Science Degree in Food & Nutrition from Framingham State University. She received her Master of Education Degree in Health/Family & Consumer Sciences from Cambridge College. Jen worked as a Health & Family Consumer Science Teacher at North Andover Middle School and Foods & Nutrition/Health Teacher at Wakefield High School. She has also worked as a Dietitian & Nutritionist in different locations. Jen also currently facilitates a course in the field of Nutrition for students at Framingham State University.

Board of Directors

The Board of Directors consists of dedicated volunteers who passionately believe in the core values of Family Cooperative Preschool and who are committed to the longevity of the school. Every member is a parent who has experienced our preschool first hand.
