Family Cooperative Preschool
Family Cooperative Preschool is a high-quality early childhood program licensed by the Massachusetts Department of Early Education and Care. Since 1952, we have provided a safe and nurturing environment while promoting the physical, social, emotional and intellectual development of young children.
What sets us apart:
Our three-room schoolhouse is located in a beautiful rural setting with ample space for indoor and outdoor activity, and unique opportunities for nature exploration and learning. Weather permitting, children spend at least an hour outdoors every day.
We are a cooperative preschool. Parents gain a better understanding of the preschool child through participating ("co-oping") in the classroom about once a month.
We offer multiage sessions for ages 3, 4 and 5. Children need to be 2 years 9 months by August 31 (3 years by December 31).
The school a nut-free environment, and we are particularly sensitive to food and environmental allergies as well as other health concerns.
Notice of Nondiscriminatory Policy
Family Cooperative Preschool does not discriminate on the basis of race, gender, color, sexual orientation, marital status, national or ethnic origin, or religion in its educational or admission policies, financial aid, or any other school-administered programs.
Family Cooperative Preschool will reopen on September 14. We have adjusted our program to meet the health and safety guidelines set at this time. The information on our website does not represent our current program with the changes that we will implement.
