Family Cooperative Preschool is
a high quality early childhood program licensed by the Massachusetts Department
of Early Education and Care. We provide a safe and nurturing environment while promoting
the physical, social, emotional and intellectual development of young children.
Our three-room schoolhouse is located in a beautiful rural setting. We have ample
space for indoor and outdoor activity and unique opportunities for nature exploration
and learning.
We are a cooperative preschool, offering parents an opportunity for better understanding
of the preschool child through participation in the program.
Parents assist ("co-op") in the classroom once a month. Co-oping provides hands-on
involvement in what is typically the preschooler's first formal program outside
the home. Click here for further information
about what co-oping is like at our school. Additional collaborative efforts
include a clean-up party, fundraising events and committee opportunities.
We offer morning and afternoon sessions, Monday through Thursday, for ages 3, 4
and 5. Children need to be 2 years 9 months by September 1st. Family Cooperative
Preschool is a nut-free environment. Click
here for further information about allergies.
