Every year the parents and teachers of the Family Cooperative Preschool organize a series of fundraising events. The funds raised are used for a variety of purposes, such as scholarships, improvement of building and grounds, and purchase obligations. In addition, these events build a sense of community among the families at the school, both present and past.

Funds are raised in a variety of ways, including informal and organized social events, direct donations, and selling personalized bricks to help pave a commemorative pathway that will be part of Family Cooperative Preschool’s permanent history.

Here is a partial list of fundraising events for the 2011-2012 school year. Events are subject to change.

• Autumn Reception and Auction (November 4) - Our annual celebration and auction event promises to bring our alumni, returning and new families together to celebrate the success of our school.

• Preschool Olympics - Family Fun day in May during which the children participate in a non-competitive assortment of games and crafts.

• Brick Sales - This ongoing fundraiser helps you add your name or meaningful quote to the walkway in the entrance of the school.

• Elizabeth Sullivan Portraits (September 30) - An exceptional child-friendly professional photographer photographs your children in the beautiful outdoor setting of Family Cooperative Preschool. Siblings are welcome.

• Learning Express Fundraiser (November 15, 6 - 9 pm) - Just in time for the Holidays, a night where 20% of sales benefit our school.
